Join the movement of ambitious entrepreneurs attempting to troubleshoot the life of your dreams.
We need more people like you.
Our world today sells us on the idea of a “dream lifestyle”, for some of us that paints a picture of Bungee Jumping in New Zealand, or volunteering in Colombia. Swimming with whale sharks, or for some, even sitting on a laptop while we build our empire… in a cafe in New York.
This image of “living a life of freedom” is constantly forced down our throats, it seems almost impossible to get away from.
It’s has never been more realistic.
We are alive in a great, and quickly evolving world of technology and information. Becoming a blogger, freelance writing, “photographer, or model” (whatever that means these days) has rapidly become a very legitimate job/career path.
Imagine if you had put your hand up at 6 years old and said; “when I grow up I’m going to be a producer/photographer/graphic artist. Maybe a few other things, I think I’ll eventually start a community of people based around a hashtag” (insta: @takubeats). Or “I’m thinking I’ll hit the gym a whole bunch, take some photos and make a heap of money from sponsors” (insta: @paigehathaway). The dude sitting next to her might have even looked over and said something like “Yeah, you know, I’ll probably make a product and pay her a bunch of money to take photos of her holding it” (Arvin Lal, twitter: @ArvinsWorld). Im assuming they then hi-fived or bumped fists and then moved on to nap time.
Here’s the one that pisses me off the most!
“I think I’ll do some modelling, get myself a smoking hot missus (insta: @alexisren), do some stuff, most of it will be pretty boss, might do some normal stuff in there. I reckon I’ll film it and chuck it together with some dope backing music and throw the footage together with some sweet transitions (still waiting on the ‘starwipe’). By the time I get a few million hits on them I should be about set” (https://www.youtube.com/user/jayalvarrez/videos).
Now while these people may or may not (can confirm: did not) have said these things, that’s a rough shapshot of what has happened. They have all managed to develop a huge network of followers, ‘likes’ and in doing so have built themselves a massive audience.
If there is one thing that will forever be true it is this; YOUR NETWORK WILL DETERMINE YOUR NET WORTH.
So these guys all have a few things in common; a large audience base, and (the appearance of) time and money.
